I have had glasses for 3 years. I didn’t wear them that often. Only at home for school or reading. But it changed this week.

The past few weeks, I had some eye problems. So I had to go to the optometrist. It turned out I needed a new pair of glasses. But I had to wear them full time. I was kinda in shock because it was a big change. I chose like a vintage pair, like those round glasses with small frames.

I was really nervous to show my new glasses to my classmates and friends. But after all almost everyone liked them.

Except for one people. She said I looked like Harry Potter. I was really offended by her comment. I said I didn’t like what she said but she laughed it away.

I remember that it was just one person who didn’t like my glasses. My best friends and family liked them. And that’s all that matters.
